50 First Street



Foster + Partners and Heller Manus have plans to design the second-tallest tower in San Francisco to rise over 900 feet in the South of Market neighborhood. 50 First Street is proposed to include over 1 million square feet of office space, hundreds of condos, and a possible hotel component. The latest plans call for the addition of residential units as well. The tower will rise 850-feet to the roof with a 60-foot crown, making it the tallest residential tower in San Francisco (a title currently claimed by 181 Fremont Street at 802-feet).

The project could be approved by the end of 2015 and be ready for occupancy as early as 2019.
